Another shot of the Cache la Poudre River in Fort Collins, Colorado - an old aqueduct crossing the river between Lemay and Timberline streets. I can hardly resist to photograph this structure whenever I bike or skate along the Poudre.
The water was flowing from the left to right shore in the aqueduct, but I wonder where it was coming from. There is a diversion dam and inlet channel for the Timnath Reservoir on the river left shore just upstream, but the aqueduct seem to be much higher than the river level above that dam.
Snow is almost gone in Fort Collins, no ice on the river, even some water is flowing.
