Happy Christmas from Frozen Colorado!

frozen Boyd Lake in northern Colorado

I stopped at Boyd Lake between Fort Collins and Loveland yesterday: a solid ice with nice reflections of homes on the other side.

Just four days ago, I paddled Horsetooth Reservoir, but haven't checked the ice condition since then. It is time to start my winter paddling season on the South Platte River. The flow is rather low, but I am sure the river is flowing.

Happy Christmas to all paddlers and photographers.
