Sticky Pod Camera Mounts

I spent the Memorial Day weekend together with Connie and our Newfoundland girl, Dax, in Saratoga, Wyoming, paddling the North Platte River and racing in the Wyoming Outback Challenge.

During my first training run on the river from Saratoga to Pick Bridge I shot some video playing with my Thunderbolt-X kayak near a high cliff above the Pick Bridge, paddling upstream and downstream. I started from Saratoga together with the overnight trip group from Canoe Colorado.

The camera, Pentax Optio W10, was mounted on the kayak front deck with a sticky pod camera mount -just a single suction cup with a knuckle and no extensions. The resulting video clip is 1:40 minute long (~17 Mb). The three pictures above are frames extracted from the movie.
