December is traditionally not the best month for my paddling. Of course, winter is coming to Colorado and my local lakes are getting frozen, but the South Platte River is still flowing. However, I am usually spending the second week of December on AGU (American Geophysical Union) Fall Meeting in San Francisco. It also mean a crazy work during weeks before that meeting.
During my time in San Francisco this year I managed to spend only a couple of hours with my camera. I just posted a few cityscapes in Pixels Away blog: One Morning in San Francisco with Canon EOS 40D.
It was a similar situation a year ago, but just before the trip to San Francisco I got my new Thunderbolt-X kayak. I had to wait a couple of weeks to take the Thunderbolt for a test paddling on the South Platte.
